Welcome to Northfield Massage Therapy. I’m Janine. I’ve been practicing for 24 years, and attended Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon. I also have a background in nursing, I worked as a LIcensed Practical Nurse for 23 years at Kelowna Regional Hospital. I worked in many areas including Emergency, Medicine, Surgery, ICU, Palliative Care, Extended Care… My unique combination of experience and skills gives me finely tuned assessment skills and the ability to work with any client, customizing the treatment plan to exactly what the client needs and wants. I use a variety of techniques, including muscle energy, myofascial release, joint play, swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, and many osteopathic techniques. My favorite treatment is on the shoulder, impingement, frozen shoulder, sports injuries.

I believe that massage should feel good. It is possible to work deeply with minimal discomfort. I think that you should need directions to your vehicle, and be poured into it after a treatment. I look forward to working with you, and welcome you to the clinic and my home.
